Welcome to the National Trauma Virtual Symposium 2021
Thursday 9th December 2021, via our virtual platform

The organising committee for the National Trauma Symposium 2021 is very conscious of the impact of COVID-19 restrictions and how this might affect an in-person event. The current COVID-19 Delta outbreak and differing lockdown levels across New Zealand has been challenging for all of us. The uncertainty regarding Government restrictions has implications for convening our Symposium in Wellington in December.

Therefore, in order to instill some certainity, the organising committee have made the decision to take the Symposium virtual. We will still be convening on 9 December 2021, but will do so in a virtual environment. We are committed to delivering a Symposium of the highest standard with your safety in mind.

On behalf of the Organising Committee, I would like to invite you to attend the National Trauma Symposium 2021 to be held on Thursday 9th December 2021 as a virtual event.

Our programme will include scientific presentation and debate of the highest level and will attract a wide variety of trauma practitioners from across New Zealand. It represents an excellent forum for discussion and learning.

We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting virtual Symposium in 2021.
